Love Systems
From AttractionWiki
Love Systems is a corporation that markets dating seminars teaching men how to have successful relationships with women. The company is based in Los Angeles, CA, USA. It was established in 2004 as the Mystery Method Corporation (founded by Mystery and Nick Savoy)[1][2] and renamed Love Systems in 2007. The company is led by Nick Savoy and has no outside investors.[3]
Love Systems teaches a method of seduction and provides advice on dating from former Mystery Method dating coaches and other instructors, about 20 in total. With their three-day dating workshops, or “bootcamps” as Love Systems calls them, they teach and train men to become more successful around women and to improve the dating lives of men. Workshops take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with five-hour instructional sessions supplemented by four-hour field sessions on Friday and Saturday night.[4] Thousands of men have taken a workshop and workshops have taken place over 13 different countries and over 35 different cities.[5][6]

[edit] History
As documented in the book The Game, Nick Savoy ("Savoy") and Erik Von Markovik ("Mystery") formed the company Mystery Method Corporation on a 50-50 basis.[2]
This company was the first dating company to provide live teachings, commonly known as "infield training", in bars and clubs where men were trained and coached to seduce women by using routines.[1][7] A routine is anything that a man can say or do that has a purpose of progressing him further with the woman. Routines include openers used to start a conversation, stories that elicit a particular emotional state, or even "seduction routines" to make a resistant woman more interested in having sex. The act of using scripts is controversial as the perception of the male's true personality is not coming through on initially meeting a woman.[7]
Both men taught workshops for the company until 2005, when Mystery announced that he was no longer teaching workshops.[2]. In late 2006, he left the company.[2] In late 2007, The Mystery Method Corporation changed its name to Love Systems.
Nick Savoy, President and CEO, and other dating coaches of Love Systems continue to teach workshops and seminars to advance the technology in "dating science" and to help men improve their dating lives.[8]
[edit] Media appearances
Love Systems Instructors have appeared on magazines, radio, national TV and other media.
- According to a Fox News broadcast in beginning 2008[9], Love Systems teaches a method of seduction and teaches men a way of confidence building. Fresno State psychologist Mike Botwin concluded that the seminar and workshop provide the tools and techniques for attracting women which are based on biological and evolutionary mating principles.[9]
- On the episode “Women Beware” of the Dr Phil show aired in April 2008[10], the company was criticized for the idea of teaching routines to men for attracting and seducing women. However, Dr Phil himself took a generally positive approach to Love Systems' methodology, stating: "You are giving men the tools to meet women," and comparing the use of Love Systems methodology for men to the use of push-up bras and makeup for women.
- In January 2008, Gene Weingarten voiced his concerns that the material that is being taught is not genuine at first but agrees to the contrary wisdom taught of "women want to be touched by men they do not know; that touching their hands, arms, hair, small of the back, etc., delivers an irresistible sense of intimacy."[11] After spending three days immersed in a Love Systems seminar, Gene Weingarten expressed his uneasiness about "a step by step tutorial for men in how to pick up women, make them comfortable in your presence, and bed them, ideally within seven hours of your first meeting" and wondered aloud, "Is there something inherently wrong with the notion of seduction as a classroom-taught skill, complete with a long hierarchy of 'lines' that work, seemingly spontaneous topics of conversation that are anything but spontaneous, tricks for seeming 'vulnerable', and tips on how to behave so as to deliver subtle but effective nonverbal inducements to intimacy?"[12]
- Dating coaches of Love Systems on the Canadian national TV show Keys to the VIP. Every episode of this show is set up a pickup competition between two men, recorded with hidden cameras and microphones. Through a series of timed tasks (e.g., get a kiss, get a phone number, etc.) a winner is declared. Three Love Systems dating coaches, Cajun, Biscuit, and Sphinx, appeared on season two[13] and season three[14].
- The Don, a lead instructor, appeared on Chicago's TV station WGN talking about meeting and attracting women.[15] In addition, he was interviewed by Gawker explaining some of his key principles of attracting women by using popular psychology books.[16]
- Journalist Meredith Goldstein of the Boston Globe attended a three-day bootcamp with Braddock and Mr M in March 2009. She concluded that "the gags and methods worked,"[17]
- Nick Savoy appeared on the Australian TV show Lawrence Leung's Choose Your Own Adventure giving dating advice to Lawrence Leung on its premiere episode.[18]
[edit] Dating Conferences
Love Systems hosts its annual Love Systems Super Conference, a dating and pickup conference where its instructors fly in from all over the world and other well-known dating coaches gather to share their new ideas on dating and pickup.[19]
The dating coaches of Love Systems frequent other dating conferences such as the Under21 Convention with Braddock, Nick Savoy at the Global PUA Summit, London Soul and Keychain at the Real Man Conference 2008, and other instructors have spoken at seduction lairs.[20][21][22]
